Matt Parry
Matt Parry - Trombone
Matt graduated with honours from Kings College London with a BSc in Mathematics before attending the Royal Academy of Music to study for a Postgraduate Diploma on Trombone. Here he won the John Solomon Brass & Woodwind Competition.
Matt is currently Principal Trombone of the English Symphony Orchestra and has previously worked around Europe and the UK with: National Symphony Orchestra (Moscow City Ballet Tour), Philharmonie der Nationen, The Cyprus State Orchestra, Fine Arts Brass Ensemble, Klangfroum Wein, Matthew Herbert Big Band, Neville Skelly Big Band, London Renaissance Brass, London Concertante, London Soloists, South Bank Ensemble, English Pro Musica, Aurelian Ensemble, London City Brass & London Strings.
He is equally at home in the jazz and pop spheres of music, currently depping for the UK Tour of Kiss Me Kate, having previously depped for the UK Tour of Annie (2004) and the West End show Calamity Jane (2003).
