Our Pricing Model

Planning a party can be a very expensive endeavour and one of the biggest expenses is going to be hiring the band. The cost of the band is pretty high but it is usually a good investment, it will definitely make the party more enjoyable for your guests. If you are looking to hire a band you are encouraged to contact us to find out how much it will cost. Our pricing model is fairly simple and is based primarily on how long you need us for.

Our pricing model is based primarily on how long we are going to have to be at your event. This includes not only the time that we are actually playing but any time that we have to be there between gigs. Therefore you are going to want to have a good idea of how long your event is going to last before you decide to hire us. Once we know this we will be able to let you know how much our services are going to cost. In some cases it may be possible to work out a different arrangement if you have a really long event that does require us to be there all day.

The other thing to keep in mind is that we also have a minimum amount that we will charge. We don't usually do shows that are less than ninety minutes long, we will do them but that is the minimum that we will charge you for. This is largely because of the time that is required to get to the location of the show and get everything set up. In rare cases we might be able to make an exception but this is not very common.

We don't normally charge for travel or set up when we are doing shows in New York however if you need us to travel out of town we will charge you for our travel expenses as well as a fee for the time that is involved. This is obviously to cover the costs that we incur by traveling to the location of your show. It also compensates us for the revenue that we lose from not being able to do other shows while we are traveling to and from the location of your show.

We are the first to admit that the cost of hiring a band can be pretty steep. However if you compare our rates you will find that they are very reasonable. By no means are we the cheapest option available but we are competitive with other bands of the same quality. There is nothing like having a band at your event, live music is a much better option than a DJ with a bunch of recordings. You will find that your guests have more fun and that the extra cost of hiring us as a band will be money well spent.
